Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Biles is thought of to be one of the greatest gymnasts. Biles and her younger sister Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics at the age of six on an excursion to the day care center Bannon's Gymnastix and was there for 11 years under direction of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. Then she re-entered the elite level of competing in 2011. Just two years later she dominated the sport. Biles's steadfastness, her enthusiastic nature and high degree of difficulty during her four events -- vault uneven bars, floor exercise, vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise, and floor exercise -- made her out from the rest of the athletes.
