Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and musician, who is mostly in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as a research assistant from Belgium and is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah is from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and after that, she graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano when she was eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. When she was 10, she was a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. She was also a theatre performer in the college she attended and was a part of several productions staged by The Madras Players and EVAM. She was president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started performing as a child performer as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a new leo advertisement along with actor Shiva. She also acted on the Podhigai Channel in a television series. The actress has acted across India. She played a brief role during the climax in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham V. Menon invited her after she appeared in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as a leading female for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, which is an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel. Her husband takes part in an affair and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was approached after Simran Shobana's death and Tabu. The film was released in the early part of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to fill a smaller supporting role. Annayum Rasoolum from Rajeeev Ravi the romantic comedy she debuted in Malayalam with was released on the 11th of August, 2013.
